Yesterday I happened across a big stack of Architectural Digest from the late ‘70's to the early 80's. These were golden days for automotive ad copy. I’ll post one of these gems from the collection every now and then. Some are pure automotive marketing historical genius. Others would instantly end present day advertising careers.

Note the subtlety of her positioning, just flanking the passenger-side door.

Those look like legit rims, but I don’t know what that does to your comparison. I agree with your assessment though.
